go cry me a river

 go cry me a river

this is the only thing brave enough to be blooming in my garden, i will take photos of the blooms this weekend, but i was so struck by its diamond drops. some of the irises & sedums are poking up new growth.

it has been raining off and on for days. perfect weather to nurse a wee one back from the grips of the flu. we are back on track and ready for the rat race & the weekend.

Your sedum looks like so-soft felt, Dawn. And the color like french grey and cool grey blended together.

Beautiful pic, Dawn. To me the tiny droplets look like air bubbles, as if the plant is coming back to life. A definite sign of spring.

That is a great shot, you have such a good eye. Look down at the shadow area at the bottom right, doesn't that look like a white toe? Like you caught part of a marble statue come to life and tiptoeing on the leaf.

Hope the fluvirus is outta yo house soon. My heart's on fire, for Elvira... remember the fluvirus version of that?!

Love the sedum and the hope of spring!! Those droplets are perfect. I saw the "toe" too and wondered about it.

Hope you kick that bug.

Have a great weekend.

I’ve always been partial to the succulents and cacti. My irises are poking up to but it’s gotten too cold after being too warm so well see how they do. Sorry the wee one’s feeling low, give ‘em a wide berth.
