well, one more crazymanicstudioday and on sunday, this is where you will find me. here, and oh, folding clothes and making beef stew.
and this is the first year that i am ready to decorate a Christmas tree during the first week of november! last year, i remember that i couldn't even trick myself into being excited about it. next week, i have a deadline, but i just might start decorating afterhours. is anyone else excited about the holidays?

I am too this year Dawn....even Starbuck's! Yesterday, I stepped in and low & behold Christmas HAD arrived. I wanted to get a palate, lie down and drink iced green tea all day~
I'm not yet, but I have 3 classrooms full of teenagers who were already begging to plan the Christmas party before the Halloween party was even over. I get at least a weekly reminder.
Nope...the holidays are coming WAY too fast!!!

I'm not ready to decorate yet, but we are going shopping this weekend to get all the present buying out of the way before mayhem reigns.
hanging around a fire sounds good to me. we've had a fire in the fireplace ever night this week. i love snuggling up by a fire. good stuff! *grin* grrrrrrrrrl! i LOVE christmas!! and decorating christmas style!! i/we always put up our tree thanksgiving night. i have been counting down the days! well, an the fact that my birthday is on thanksgiving toooo! so that's another reason for counting! *grin*

Ooohh, tons of luck for you tomorrow!!! I usually don't put up our tree till at least the day after Thanksgiving. And I have kittie babies who ADORE tinsel and blingy decorations, so who knows how long it will stand when I DO get it all perfect!! ;o) lol It's been cooler here in FL too, so I'm kinda feelin' the mood now.
Haven't quite gotten in the mood yet, but I'm on the verge. :-)

We won't put up our tree until the weekend after T'giving. I did, however, buy a couple of cute Chihuahua ornaments (one for a gift and one for myself) and a manger for my 7" Fonantanini nativity set today. I really should stay out of Hobby Lobby. I just can't resist their bargains! Christmas stuff was 50% off!!! $50 worth of stuff for $25...not too shabby! Besides, now that I have a creche for I have a good excuse to buy more eBay 7" Fontanini pieces!!! I only have a few, altho I have a ton of the 5" pieces! I went way overboard last winter. But it's something I always wanted and will continue to add to my sets over the years to come.
I am getting excited about Christmas tho!! It will be tough NOT to get it all out and set it up.
I do love my tree with all it's roses and angels!! I'll post pix on my blog when the time is right!

Starbucks has their Christmas ornaments out! I've got an obsession with them, and it kind of made my day to buy them. So, yes, I'm excited.
