texas girl
i like woodsmoke, cowboy boots, pick'emup trucks, honkytonks, cold beer, riding bitch and old country music. that is good stuff.
now back to the smell of the subway, applepicking, the beautiful percussion of the city, the 'yo, paulie!'s', autumn and a slice.

Dawn, as a child I lived on a ranch in Austin County,(the first German Settlement in Texas). I spent lazy days throwing my fishing line in the creek, trying to catch a big bass. I rode an old paint horse named "Lightning", that was anything but! Being a pure Texas girl myself, I know that "Live where you're planted" rings a bell of acceptance you have had to chose to accept.....i feel for you girl! p.s. I love this photo!
Yo Dawnie!
I know what you mean. that "cowboy world" is seductive.
thank g-odd you can take it with you!
Home is where your heart is.
