my inner magpie has been surfacing over the past two months. shiny needs to come home with me. also, anything girly. so, shiny and girly things with utility are the agenda. when one is on overdrive survival mode, it seems that shiny and girly doesn't matter.
i primed my bedroom yesterday and have the paint ready to go for today. even with the primer coat on, the room looks like a different room. i swear that i could feel the orange pulse for the few nights that i slept in there. it was a super color for a studio, but it needed to be simple as a bedroom. i still don't know where everything will go, but will figure that out tomorrow morning when the paint is completely dry.
this magpie awakening is truly a foreshadowing of a fantastic year ahead.
