purple within

artichoke upclose

with the rising food costs, i really should be eating my artichokes and not letting them bloom. seriously now.

I wouldn't let Richard cut down the (weed) thistles in the pasture until they were done blooming--love those, too!

Ummm....love artichokes. But this flower is gorgeous Dawn. Makes me think of the passion flower bloom.
