a handful o' mandarinquats
okay, so if you were to ask me what my favorite fruit is, i would have to say that it is a mandarinquat. lychees run the superclose second.
leave a question of any flavor (and you can ask more than one, of course) for me on this post and i will put your name in the kitty for a bloggityprize through the mail. the drawing will be next friday. i have a year of posts to write and i was tinkin' that some of the daily posts could be answers to questions. each and every one of them will be answered. the questions can be serious or silly. that will be up to you and this will be your chance to peel me.

I knew who you were long before I found your blog through Fiwa. I've always been curious about your rubber stamp art. Will you post about that part of your creativity sometime? I'd love to hear about it.
How did you ever find a mandarinquat anyway?! lol
Was your new tattdesign a solo project by you, or a collaboration?
Have you done anything with the fountain? If so, please show!
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
You win the Mega-Millions lottery...what would be your first major purchase?
Talk to me about "Etsy" stores...are they worth it, do you sell much? Inquiring minds...and all that!
I gotta find me a mandarinquat! I me some love clementines and tangerines and kumquats...I'd sure love to try me some mandarinquats! Shoot, I wanna go to the store just for the pleasure of asking, "You got any mandarinquats?" Dontcha just love it when they throw two words together like that!! Like schnoodle, and peekapoo!
Love ya girlieo

What's the one biggest thing you do for yourself that makes you feel feminine?
OK - that was the question - now go do it!
(Mine's a sugarscrub bath with a candle burning and a glass of diet Dr. Pepper on the edge of the tub, lol)
My real question - How many cupcakes have you eaten? I know I couldn't be honest.
I haven't heard of mandarinquats either, I bet they're yummy.
Fun game - and my question is "If you could go back in time and witness any historical event or meet any person from the past, what or who would it be?"
TGIF!

my question is~ am I living under a rock or what? how can your fave fruit be one that i have never even heard of?! I gotta get out more...the grocery store needs to be my first stop!
it seems like i read somewhere that you were considering teaching as a new career...did i make that up? if not, you would be great at it!! and...i want to know if you sell or would consider selling any personalized notecards.
What's your guiltiest pleasure?
Beautiful photo! And Happy New Year.
Here's my question:
What was the scariest thing you ever did?

How do you peel a grape?
I can hear your music without long pauses and blips and weird noises....because I just got my highspeed!!!!!!!
xoxoxoxo
I've been in "foodie" mode lately, so my question(s) will be food related. What were some of your favorite food memories growing up, favorite recipes made by parents, gradnparents, etc. What would you children say your "signature" dish is or food memories related to you are? Hope these questions make sense!
Well since I watch the Food Network almost constantly - I just learned what lychees were this week on Simply Delicioso (she made jello shots with them!)
Okay here's my question - when are ya gonna come up here for a visit and sit on my bench and look at the lake? hmmmm?
I love the graphics on your index page--are these journals that you will be selling?

What's your favorite pair of jammies like?
Do you have a pair of slippers to go with them? =o]
have you ever been out of the country? if so, where? if you could visit any country right now, where would you go???
Okay... several of my questions have been asked, but let me embellish on a couple.
I knew you from your rubber stamps, like Cheryl, before I ever found your blog. I was wondering... when the rubber stamp company makes your stamps do they give you one or more of each of your designs (like publishers give books to authors). And if so, do you keep them all??? (And how do you store them.)
I am very interested in how you made your banner, too. I had actually thought about contacting you on the matter... if I ever came up with a cool design!!!
Being a vegetarian that is now leaning more towards a raw vegan lifestyle, I find it outrageous that I have never heard of a mandarinquat! I hit all of the specialty food stores in my area, and am always on the lookout for different fruits and veggies to try, but I've never seen these!!! If I win a prize... can I have a mandarinquat??? [grin]
ok my question is....
if you could sit down with anyone dead or alive and have a cup of coffee with them who would it be?
(me? my grandfather.. he was killed in 1984. i was very young. he was a painter and such a kind man.)
ok! one more...
if you were stuck on a deserted island for the rest of your life and you could only have all of one artist's music they made to listen to there... how who it be?
(me? hands down.. billie holiday!)
♥
Happy new year Dawn!
What is your favorite memory from Wild Bill's? JFAP
Hi Dawn
I ordered a ballerina from you years ago after it appeared in Country Living. I was very excited when you started to blog.
I've always admired what a great parent you seem to be. You seem to have a knack for being very involved in your kids lives, yet they are free to be who they want to be. What are your tips for being such an upbeat parent, expecially during stressful times.
What have you knit lately? :) Looks like you have been busy writing in the last week. Have to finish Catching up.
Hi, Dawn! I read your blog, write on your Crane's stationery, and ink up your stamps ever since finding you at Stitch in Austin. I love reading about your thrift/vintage finds because I *love*love*love* to find treasures since being introduced to this hobby by my husband. It is now so compulsive that I can't drive home from work (or take a lunch break) without steering my car into a the closest treasure trove...just in case! Oh, and when I'm not treasure-hunting, I'm making jewelry or writing proposals (my real job).
