b(luegr)eenie

bluegreenie

yesterday was one of those monstertruck days. take one to work, one to ballet, errands, rush back to pick up the boyfriend (not mine --*sigh*) and take them to the movies, go back home to get stuff done while on call waiting to pick up and then...

i stopped.

i had a coffee at panera and finished this beanie for ballerinachica that i had started while she was in class earlier.

i actually stopped. the sun was shining, it was springlike outside and i stopped to smell the coffee and knit in the round, like a normal person who chooses to stop and be normal.

today is supposed to be just like yesterday in terms of springlike glee. i have one bathroom clean, one load of clothes ready for the dryer, had coffee & kolaches with numbertwoson before taking him to his honey's before he goes to work and numberoneson will be over for soup & salad later this afternoon. today is garden cleanup and potager bed prep for the spring.

thank you God for smiling with a beautiful blue sky and a promise of spring.

Aw, my favorite 2 colors in the cutest beanie...

Can you please recommend a teaching book for me on knitting? I can crochet but I've always wanted to learn to knit - my g'mother tried to teach me when I was a kid but my mind was too full of horses and hay.

And I have to say...I am so in love with the visual image of God smiling a blue sky.
XOXOXOXOXOXO (extra for you today!)

Diggin' the b(luegr)eenie! And glad you stopped for yourself! I can crochet/can't knit too, but my Momma could do both. You don't suppose it's genetic? ;o] Think I'll take your cue, put on my brakes till the tires squeal and just STOP for a bit.....you're the best lifepractitioner!
