uncharted territory

i found this stencil early yesterday morning before my class started. i initially recognized him as a spaceman, but now i think it could be walt in his cook suit.

either way, the territory of my life is the new unknown. my children are grown. the last one is leaving the nest in a matter of months. for exactly a week, she has had her driver's license. i am aware of the time that is finally now my own again and the time that i have spent happily revolving around my three kids for over twenty-three years.

if i don't continue to maintain this rich, creative and rewarding life for myself, it will be my own damn fault.
