valance wirestrong
my kitchen window needed something, but nothing that would keep the light out or take away from the window's architecture. during the garage overhaul, i thought of making a valance of some leftover chicken wire from the coop.
i wired two panels together to get the width that i needed and stapled the top above the window. valance wirestrong also doubles as a starcatcher. as you can see in the top photo, it disappears, but doesn't let the window think it was forgotten.

Very original use of chickenwire, Dawn. I'm loving the light pouring in your kitchen. Wish I could be there.
