over the summer, i lost three roses, a tea olive, but my firethorn gained in strength. i have been wanting to make this jelly for a couple of years. if i don't get a chance to do it before the first freeze, i will leave the pomes for the birds.
another thing that sparks my interest is the use of firethorn in facial products. i might have more of a chance to tinker with a cream or cleanser than a full-on jelly session.
