arugula

arugula

i would bet money that God had yet to create chickens when He sent the eighth plague of locusts. chickens surely would have changed pharoah's mind and that hardhearted man could have avoided those last two plagues, um, like the plague.

my chickens are under coop arrest until my plants grow back. they ate everything, except the arugula.

That has got to be the most beeeyoutiful photo of arugula I've ever seen. And I agree -- chickens (and probably bunnies) could easily have been plague animals.

Yikes, I meant to say "Chickens, bunnies and deer = the trifecta from HELL, when in the garden".

Because of you, my mom just sent me home with a sandwich baggie of arugula seeds. :)

I'm guilty of giggling too :D Love your stories of funny things that happen around the house. Your garden is gorgeous girl, and I'm especially intrigued by the plant in this post--must go see if I can find one.

love to you!

I've heard chickens are very stupid. They were smart to leave the arugula alone. I've never seen such a beautiful plant.
