a good kind of peely
babygirl needed a mirror and i made one for her yesterday. i heart how it turned out. she did, too. we are both a little goth and a little victorian. oh, and yes, a lil' bit country and a whole lotta rock&roll.
this has been a restorative week...teeming with new life, time to clean and an allowance to straighten the cobwebs of almost a year in this new chapter. to be able to walk from the front door to the back door in the middle of the night (not that i want to do this, but i could now, if i wanted!) without the fear of tripping over something besides a poochie (especially a poochie!) is such an overwhelming relief. after almost a year, i feel slightly in control of my life. (grad school + three jobs = who knew?)
email me if you lost your guest pass (or want a guess pass!) to my photo album. the house will always be in the works, but let's just say that i can finally rest a bit. it so feels like home and i want to share it. okay, the studio is always in a state of flux, but it is now containable flux. that is next. start shaking in your boots, studio.

A fab image, Dawn - sparkly, rich in color and texture. And I'm glad you are getting some refreshment at the end of a very busy time... 3 jobs!
Not only is the mirror attachment great, the paint color is an over-the-moon favorite.
Decorate on, Darling Art Girl....
Hang in there, you super hero. I'm amazingly proud of you. XO
