crush bigtime

i smiled.

last night, i was getting ready for today's class and needed a papercarrier for my, uh, paper... (okay, studio is still not perfectly together, but we see the floor and i did find my box full of desk supplies.) so, i made one out of one of the many amazon foldable boxes that terry, the postal saint of books that need to be read, has been bringing to my door since school started.

okay, this isn't totally amazing, but the act of stopping to make something needed (but really not needed) is what starts me up. the thing that is amazing is the onthefloorspreadout artfire which is so good for the soul. i need more of that. another thing that i have missed for almost twentytwo years is my old lover, super 77. between ketchup and super 77, there is nothing in this world that can not be fixed. (oncebroken hearts included. trust me, it works!)

go on, baby, crush me up and throw some supah77 on me real thick.

And there's the Dawnie that's most familiar to me - I love when you put your creative pants on...

Thanks for the sweet comment, Dawn - it seems every time you get a chance to stop by, I'm whining about something, LOL - but things are good, truly. I just had a couple rawemotion days.

Love you,
XOXO

OK...I'm inspired to decorate something now. That drawer of odds and ends needs to be used!

How's teaching going?

You are amazing. And resilient. The last thing I'd want to do when the house is a mess is to create something. But there you are, making something beautiful and useful!

That was inspiring to me Dawn! I am in last minute preparations for ACL. I was starting to wonder if I was crazy to take on building new displays this week but you talked me into it. Last minute creativity can be awesome!

You are the most resourceful woman I know!

I bet you have a roll of duct tape at your new house. :-) You can use that stuff for Anything!
