a chaplain of the common good
sometimes, all you have to do is walk up a hill and listen to a message.
reverend joseph lowery spoke on campus today and urged us all to go out and be a chaplain of the common good. what i took from him was that this challenge goes beyond the republican, democratic or libertarian party and incorporates the common good of your classroom, workplace, subdivision, precinct, county, state, country and world.
it was a real treat and had me thinking all the way down the hill.
