on the bathroom wall

on the bathroom wall

painting was easybreezy. do the cutting in and roll. i had the best helper in the world and i owe her bigtime.

but, i have to admit that precisely measuring a wall, placing the outlet, mirror and light fixture with a sloping ceiling line within a custom wallpiece tested my faith in myself. seriously, major doubt was there. at times, i was either crying or cursing on the stepladder and both were not pretty. the weekend went by so quickly that i didn't realize that the day i put the wall in was my oneyear anniversary of being single and what a way to experience it.

i will say that getting it right has been one of my proudest achievements of my life and mos def, this past year. powertools and holding stuff bigger than me are not my forte, but i freaking rocked it. thank You.

measure twice - cut once!
- back of fingers under chin in a brisk, outward movement...priceless.

My hat is off to you - I would have curled up under the sink and started crying if I'd had to figure all of that out. I am so proud of you. You truly have made the last year your own brightest moment. And you have set the best example for your kids. You are amazing.

all my lovins,
fiwa

It pays to be precise about some things and this was one of them. It looks great. Our first peek inside. Bring it on!

Dearest D,
I think this is in the house you waited so patiently for the tile guy to finally show to work in the green and white bathroom and are now busting your buns to list and sell. Good job either way, it looks awesome. And Happy Anniversary my dear! Yes to the new YOU! Love, JFAP
