sundaying

the sundaying shrine

i had never heard the term 'sundaying' until i watched blame it on fidel! a few weeks ago. on sundays, the family would nest in bed, read, picnic, etc... the basic regrouping & recharging of the family unit. i love the cozy idea of this term and it is nice to have a word for what we have been doing all along.

this shadowbox's top must look like a mantel in come on, baby, warm my heart post. i will leave the sparkly lights on after the holidays. against the black wall, it is the perfect shrine.

Well bless my soul chica! I would NEVER have guessed it's a shadow box...you're GOOOOD girl! :o) It's loverly regardless. I can think of nothing better than Sundaying, especially when one's croupy and in need of some good tea. =o( xoxo

We used to 'sunday" in another life. It was our favorite time of the week!!

I have to admit, I have never Sunday'd. I do aspire to be the kind of person who lays around on the couch reading the Sunday paper all day though, and I'm working on that. Baby steps.

I heart your shadowobx. Deeply. Yes, leaving the lights up is the right idea.

I've been 'Sundaying' all day (ie: being lazy as can be!) It's been nice having a few days to craft as I please, but sadly I'm kind of ready to get back to my daily routine. Of course I'll be itching for the weekend by Monday afternoon! LOL I had a terrific Thanksgiving. I hope you did, too! Jessica
