confiture & champa

confiture&champa

apparently, i didn't have enough bonne maman jars in my life. oh, and you know the only way to talk yourself into another is 'but, but, but...it is opaque!' if you had read the fine print, you would know that rule #423 reads "the only way to atone for stuffing your body with turkey fat is to bathe yourself with nonturkeyfat soap." dude, it is nag champa soap! (i didn't even know they made such a thang.)

i did the lawn on wednesday & redistributed the raked leaves to my back garden beds as a pathetic rainbeg. it is raining now and i hope that it rains all weekend. i didn't need to water all year with all of the spring and summer rains, except for the potager. the roses are blooming like crazy and i just want to nest all weekend. tea is on!

Fig and cinnamon on toast with gorgazola and tea. Yum. Wish I could come over. Enjoy.

Love that photo with the old dictionary as a background. Tea sounds yummy...which reminds me I got some new teas the other day. Gingerbread and eggnog. I think I'll try one of them while we decorate the tree. Andy's cussing that tree right now, trying to put it up...it's a huge mama!

I would buy that just for the jar, but fig and cinnamon is an added bonus. Girl, you need to make fig cookies!

I'm so glad it's raining for you - have a cozy weekend with your tea & toast.

Lovins!

OMG!! I would definitely buy that just because it is opaque. Now I'm going to have to hunt them down locally (or mail order).

It does my heart good to know so many of us can justify buying stuff just because of the packaging!!!

Hugs and Hot Toddies to all!!!

You won't mind if I chortle, laugh, guffaw, will you? Because I had the same reactions. Mais...mais.. c'est opaque voyons!!!
(and who can resist fig anything)
and when a friend haded me a nag champa soap I said I didn't know such a thing existed.

Off to have some tea and light a stick of nag champa...
